Socrates graduated from the Univeristy of Essex with an Bachelor in Law and later on achieved his Masters in Commercial Law (LL.M) at the University of Edinburgh. He specialises in Company Law, Tax Law, International Trusts, Shipping Law, Banking and Finance and Contract Law. Over the years he has used his expertise to comment on finance and tax laws in Cyprus through various publications. At the moment Socrates holds the position of Director at Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC as well as Associate at J&S Legal Counsels & Trustees.
