The Malta Citizenship by Investment Seminar London 2014 Breakfast Briefing, which is going to be held on the 3rd of December at the Malta High Commission, Malta House in Piccadilly, will treat the programmes provided under Maltese law for individuals and families to take up residence in Malta, including the Global Residence Program, the Retirement Programme and HNWI Programme. The seminar will also deal with the opportunities for structuring wealth using Malta.  

The Malta Citizenship by Investment Seminar London 2014 will be hosted by the Malta High Commission at Malta House in Piccadilly, inviting Dr Charles Cassar, financial services specialist with a particular focus on investment services, Dr Jean-Philippe Chetcuti, a leading tax and immigration law specialist and Mr Jonathan Cardona, CEO, Individual Investor Programme at Identity Malta.

Dr. Jean Philippe Chetcuti 

Dr. Jean Philippe Chetcuti is one of the founding partners of Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates, a leading Malta law firm based in Valletta and London. Dr. Chetcuti is part of the firm's multi-disciplinary Tax Practice Group lead by 3 tax partners of the firm, specialising in international corporate and private client taxation. Dr. Chetcuti is a key advisor on Malta holding companies, Malta royalty companies, Malta trusts, Malta foundations and professional investor funds in international tax and estate planning as well as Malta citizenship and Malta residence programmes.

Dr. Charles Cassar

Dr. Charles Cassar leads the financial services regulatory team at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates. Dr Cassar has advised clients from a variety of sectors of the financial industry including investment advisors, funds and their managers, insurance principals and intermediaries, banks and financial institutions. Dr. Charles Cassar is particularly interested in the intersection between technology and financial services, and has built a clientele which includes forex brokers, online payment institutions and virtual currency operators. Dr Cassar regularly delivers training sessions, career talks and seminars and has spoken at the University of Malta, Maastricht University and Society Education.

Jonathan Cardona

Jonathan Cardona is the CEO at The Identity Malta Agency, which was established in 2013 with the aim of centralising key identity databases of all passport records, national identity records, public and land registries and other civil registries. The Identity Malta Agency manages the Individual Investor Programme (IIP) – a citizenship-by-investment scheme by which ultra-high net worth individuals and families who want to secure citizenship of an EU Member State can become residents, and,after a period of time, citizens of Malta.
